Jon R. Moeller
Executive Chairman of the Board
Jon Moeller is P&G’s Executive Chairman of the Board. In this capacity, he leads P&G’s Board of Directors and provides advice and counsel to the CEO and P&G’s leadership team on company decisions.
Jon served as P&G’s Chairman, President & CEO from 2021 until the end of 2025 and has been an integral part of P&G's leadership team for well over two decades, including positions as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
As Chief Operating Officer, Jon had profit and loss responsibility for P&G’s Enterprise Markets. He also led the company’s Investor Relations, Information Technology, Purchasing, Global Business Services, Sales, Market Operations, Manufacturing, and Distribution efforts. Prior to this, he served as P&G’s Chief Financial Officer for more than 12 years.
During his tenure as CEO, COO & CFO, Jon was instrumental in developing P&G’s integrated growth strategy. After this strategy was fully implemented, which included his time as CEO, P&G added over $17 billion in sales, more than $6 billion in profit, and nearly $180 billion in market capitalization, making P&G the 18th most valuable company in the U.S. and the 21st most valuable company in the world at the time.
Since joining P&G in 1988 as a cost analyst, Jon has held various senior leadership roles in categories, sectors and regions, including assignments in China, as well as serving as the company’s Treasurer, Global Beauty, Health, Feminine Care Finance Senior VP, and Corporate Forecasting & Analysis.
He has led significant merger and acquisition operations, including the Merck KGaA acquisition and the divestitures of P&G’s coffee, snacks, pharmaceuticals, battery and prestige beauty businesses.
Jon serves on the boards of Eli Lilly and Company, the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, the Business Roundtable, the Consumer Goods Forum, and Isle of Harris Distillers Ltd. He previously served on the Board of Directors for Monsanto for eight years, where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee.
He is active in the business, civic and cultural leadership of Greater Cincinnati, serving in an advisory role on local Boards and is a Trustee Emeritus and Former Chairman of the Cincinnati Art Museum Board of Trustees.
